Patrick Gracey is an Olivier and Tony Award-winning producer and general manager of plays and musicals in London’s West End, on Broadway, and in Australia.

Current and upcoming productions include John Cassavetes’ Opening Night by Ivo Van Hove and Rufus Wainwright starring Sheridan Smith, An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen, conceived and directed by Thomas Ostermeier and starring Matt Smith, Macbeth directed by Simon Godwin, starring Ralph Fiennes and Indira Varma, and The Hills of California by Jen Butterworth and directed by Sam Mendes.

Recent productions include a new adaptation of Vanya by Simon Stephens starring Andrew Scott and directed by Sam Yates, and Dr Semmelweis starring Mark Rylance and directed by Tom Morris.

Other productions include Bleak Expectations based on the hit BBC Radio comedy series, A Little Life, based on the novel by Hanya Yanagihara and directed by Ivo van Hove, Sam Steiner’s Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons, and Tom Stoppard’s Olivier and Tony Award-winning masterpiece, Leopoldstadt.

Previous productions include C.P. Taylor’s Good directed by Dominic Cooke and starring David Tennant, Ivo van Hove’s adaptation of The Human Voice, Joel Horwood’s adaptation of The Ocean at the End of the Lane based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and directed by Katy Rudd, Conor McPherson’s adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya, directed by Ian Rickson, and the Olivier Award-winning revival of Tennessee Williams' Summer & Smoke directed by Rebecca Frecknall.

For Ambassador Theatre Group, Patrick produced Pedro Almodovar’s Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown in the West End, and Constellations on Broadway.

Patrick was the general manager of the Tony Award®-winning production of Death of a Salesman directed by Mike Nichols and starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof starring Scarlett Johansson.

As general manager of the Donmar, Patrick supervised over a dozen productions in the UK, U.S. and Australia. Productions included Ivanov starring Kenneth Branagh, Twelfth Night starring Derek Jacobi, Madame de Sade starring Judi Dench and Rosamund Pike, and Hamlet starring Jude Law.

Patrick is a Board Member of the Society of London Theatre, The League of Independent Producers, and a Trustee of the Theatre Development Trust.

He is the Chair of the SOLT & UK Theatre Policy, Research, and Advocacy Committee.
